The Florida Homestead Exemption tax exemption is available to qualifying individuals who purchased a home for personal use in 2023. According to the Property Appraiser’s office, “To receive an exemption this tax year, proper application must be made in the Property Appraiser’s Office no later than March 1, 2024”.
